I am an American writer who divides her time between Rome and Umbria. I still have a hard time believing people actually pay me to write about the things I love: beautiful homes, delicious food and interesting people. I've been lucky enough to contribute to over forty magazines over the last fifteen years, and am the author of six books on the joys of Italian life. My most recent book, Italian Rustic, was published by Artisan in November 2009. The latest chapter in my life is One Book Press, a new approach to making books.
