Even though you are reading this on your computer, I think real, words-on-paper cookbooks are pretty nice too. I was inspired by my friend Sienna‘s much-loved copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Read my thoughts, and share yours, over at The Atlantic.
Ciao Chow Linda
Where have I been? Just found your delightful blog through the leaders of “Italy in Other Words” workshop and am so glad I finally did. I’ll be back to read your posts regularly – The blog is delightful and gives me warm feelings of when I lived in Rome.

Thanks Linda, welcome to the blog!

what a fabulous photo! I personally collect vintage wine books. Instead of food stains they have wine stains. It makes me cry to think of how many great wine makers from the past that have passed and I will never drink their wine. Seeing the cookbooks of another is a great way to get to know someone. I don’t trust foodies with pristine cookbooks!!
