Although I live in Rome, and Umbria I’ve been visiting Puglia regularly for the last 30 years. My husband, Domenico, is from the capital of Puglia, Bari, and his family home there has been our base to explore both the city and the entire region. Now Sophie (my daughter and business partner) and I would like to share it with you!
During this 6 day tour we’ll have the time to truly explore all I love about Puglia, from a completely food-centric point of view of course. From breakfast through dinner, we’ll wander in small towns and through the countryside tasting, drinking, eating, cooking, learning and having fun.
We’ll be based in two of our favorite spots: Lecce and Monopoli , staying in 2 very different, charming hotels. The days will be full, with adventures both in the countryside and in the cities. But don’t worry, you’ll have some down time as well, to head off on your own to explore.
